As a Varilux specialist, we only work with genuine Varilux progressive lenses. Thanks to our modern measuring instruments, we can offer our customers tailor-made solution

There are three innovative technologies that account for the design and comfort of these lenses:

Nanoptix

The structure of the progressive lens is designed so that you have a smooth balanced vision even when moving (no swaying effect as with conventional varifocal lenses). A patented technology not used by any other varifocal lens supplier.

Synchroneyes

The strengths of the right and left lenses are coordinated with one another in such a way that the images arriving at the back of the eye (retina) through the lenses are already sychronised to each other. So from the very beginning, the fusion of both images is much more pleasant and faster.

4D-Technology

Every person moves differently. We determine how strongly the progressive lens wearer moves his head to the side and how strong his eye movements are. This data is determined by the Visioffice 2 system (video based centring system) and can only be measured at the premises of an Eyecode expert. The resulting data is then used to produce a progressive lens which is completely adapted to the wearer’s movement behaviour. Maximum visibility when driving, climbing the stairs and reading.

Protection

These lenses have the latest protection system in order to protect the eyes from harmful UV and blue-violet rays in the light spectrum. A unique filtering process achieves the ideal protection against UV rays. The UVA and UVB rays are absorbed by the glass. Protection against the harmful blue-violet light emitted by artificial light sources (PCs, laptops, mobile phones etc.) is increasingly important. Caring for spectacle lenses

How to keep your spectacle lenses in perfect condition for a long time to come.

Use lukewarm water and a few drops of detergent to clean your lenses. A microfibre cloth is useful for drying.

(Please don’t use kitchen paper, your T-shirt, etc.)

Avoid exposing your spectacle lenses to high temperatures, such as you’ll find on the dashboard of your car. Glasses should also be protected from direct sunlight. Only mineral lenses are suitable for use in a sauna.

Lay glasses down on their frame, not on the lenses.

Store your glasses in a solid case when they’re not in use.

If you have natural horn-rimmed glasses, please do not use any cleaning products as they will cause the material to dry out over the longer term.

Express glasses with standard prescriptions within a day

Our suppliers manufacture your lenses in Switzerland. They also have a large stock of lenses, so most lens powers (single-vision lenses) are available immediately. These lenses have an anti-reflective coating on both sides and 100% UV protection.

A pair of glasses ordered in the morning can be picked up at 6.00 pm the same day with your new prescription.

Express glasses with special prescriptions within 36 hours

These glasses are produced for you in Switzerland within 36 hours by Essilor.

If ordered in the morning, you will receive your new glasses the day after tomorrow.

Dioptres from +6.00 / -8.00 dpt and astigmatism from 3.00 dpt

Express progressive glasses within 36 hours

Progressive lenses are individually made according to your dioptre strength. These lenses are coated on both sides (anti-reflective, with a hard coating and 100% UV protection) and are known for their super-fast adaptation time.

The premium versions of these glasses are available within 36 hours if ordered in the morning. They are produced for us by Essilor Switzerland, who specialise in the production of varifaocal lenses.
